Oh wow, I really do hate when I come back to this blog months later. I feel like it is so link dusty (yes, I just made up that phrase. I’ve been making up a lot of phrases lately). I looked at my most recent post, which I admittedly could not remember, and laughed. The relief! I should update you all, for much has happened recently.
First and foremost, I did decide on my college. Fordham University it is, Go Rams! Strange to transfer from a panther to a ram..
Speaking of panthers, last week was spent celebrating the Class of 2015. We had prom and the end of classes the week before, that all just happened to be on the day of my birthday. Go me! And then continued into the next week with senior banquet, senior cookout (where we got our yearbooks and signed each others), awards night (scholarships), graduation practices, and then finally graduation!
It was a very busy week, but much appreciated and needed of course! Gotta have that diploma.
Prom was very fun! I enjoyed every bit of it, other than getting my hair done but that is another story. I have quite a few pictures from the past events that I am just going to throw before you for your eyes to look at, and so you can see all my cute friends and whatnot.

I also went to one of my best friend’s prom this year, so I felt I should add a few of those pictures too.

Thank you Jeffrey for taking this wonderful picture. We’re graduated officially!
And that is all it took. Four years of work and sports and dedication for one goal that was all wrapped up into one week. Senior year was undoubtedly my best year. The craziest but most memorable by far. I’ve gotten so close to so many people this year, not even in relation to classmates, but outside the offices too. I’ve made relationships that I never want to lose, and have shaped me into someone wiser and just overall better, I think.
The years to come are going to be exciting and profound. It is challenging to think that I will not be going to school with the kids I have been for 12, 7, and 4 years. A new comfort zone will have to be recreated. I hope, however, the best for them all. I was at a fire the other night, and our class president was there, how official I know. Just kidding just kidding, but seriously too. We were all talking about how excited we are for reunions. We want to see the transformations. Who have our classmates, that we knew as kids and teens, changed into as adults?
I also just want to live in this moment, and not always look to the future. I’ve been doing that a little too much since the beginning of junior year. Summer 2015. The summer of endless graduation parties and beach fires and friends and laughs and memories to hold onto when I leave for the city in late August. My graduation party is this Saturday, and I am pumped for it. So many of my closes friends and family are attending, which means my house is going to be absolutely packed. Insane, but awesome.
I’ll keep posting more frequently now. I say I promise, and I can only hope that I can follow through.
P.s. Check out Beck’s Turn Away. Ugh I love him. Genius absolute genius.
